AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has had no diplomatic achievement in spite of being two years in office.
“After two years in office, the US Secretary of State Pompeo, who is also known as Secretary of Hate, has no achievement in the field of diplomacy,” Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in its Twitter account late on Sunday.
The Foreign Ministry added that in this period, the world has become more ‘insecure; and the United States has become more 'hated and humiliated’.
In the global arena, no peace was achieved and no stability was established, it continued.
In similar criticisms, on March 25, 2020, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif lashed out at Mike Pompeo for his anti-Iran comments while the world is engaged in the battle against coronavirus.
"Even a pandemic won't stop Secretary Pompeo from spouting 3rd-rate propaganda," Zarif wrote on his Twitter page.
"One wonders whether he's Secretary of State or Secretary of Hate," he added.
"No amount of trolling will gloss over his infamous warmongering and economic terrorism, killing innocents and impeding global fight against COVID-19," Zarif said.
